Dinner and a near miss?

I had a stressful but busy day at work, which was good. Lot better than doing nothing at work. Met a friend for dinner, a friend I met here on LJs actually. I had a great time. Then driving home I was nearly in a head-on collision with an idiot driving the wrong way on a very busy divided highway. I pulled into a parking lot to get over the shakes and call emergency services. But even tho' they said they'd have someone look for the car, I mean who knows if they'll find the guy. And it was a very busy highway and this guy was driving straight into traffic.
