olivia_suttonWell, yesterday I had a good writing day-- the first for ages! Wrote for awhile an a RNHD fic, but the problem was it was an alternative version of the fic I'm *supposed* to be working on. Wonder if that means I'll end up posting it anyway?
Also, watched *Doctor Who* on Sci-Fi last night-- it was NOT as good as I had expected, especially with a title like "Daleks in Manhattan" (I was actually expecting something humorous-- so far, Big Finish's "Invaders from Mars" was better). Who woulda' thought that Daleks could be boring! And the really bad accents were annoying.
Still, after that I watched *Psych* which was really good. I mean, for a network USA show, it was really good-- this season's been *awesome*. So, I went to fanfic net to look for fic-- and they had *finally* added a *Psych* category. There's some very good fics there as well. Which just goes to show my fanfic theory is right: if the show has good/great characters, poor plots, an easy-to-play with setting (e.g. not something that requires a lot of research--like a good historical or SF), you get GREAT fanfic. You especially get great angst and h/c. I wonder if I could find or even edit a zine for *Psych* by next Mediawest.
