Hi all,

Well, I made it here!  Spent all day yesterday traveling.  Left the house at 10am with Mom and Dad, Dad drove us to the airport.  Hung around at the airport until our plane was called.  Then me and Mom took a Delta flight to Atlanta, Georgia.  The flight wasn't bad, and I even watched a couple episodes of Batman:  The Animated Series (Vol. #4, disc 4) during the flight.  I did have to run the captions during my DVD tho, because, well, planes are noisy.  The plane was also pretty small only two seats on either side of  the aisle.

Atlanta was NOT fun.  I ended-up having an allergy attack.  My chest felt tight and I was coughing alot.  And, of course, I didn't have any allergy medicine, Benedryl, or Primatine Mist (not that I could have carried it onto the plane).  Once I was on the plane I was OK, but by the time we landed in Tallahassee - I felt awful - like I had a bad cold or something - I was nautious, my head hurt, my chest was tight.  And I NEVER get airsick and I'm not a nervous flyer.  I hate airports - stupid, dark cramped places But the minute I was in the airport, which was noticably cooler than anyplace else I had been all day (both the airport I'd left in Michigan and Atlanta were VERY warm), and I suddenly felt much better.  And I actully had been drinking a lot of fluids and eating when I could.  But my Mom figured I probably got over-heated.  So I had all my major meals in three different states -- breakfast in Michigan, lunch in Atlanta, Georgia, and dinner at a Steak & Shake in Tallahassee, Florida.  But flights weren't bad (the second one was only half-an-hour), and if I hadn't had an allergy attack in Atlanta, traveling would have been really good.  When we got to Florida, tho, we discovered storm damage to my parents house (the skirting around the bottom was gone or damaged; and the back door was wide open), AND we couldn't get the power on.  So it was real dark and cold.  Kinda' like camping but we were inside.  This morning we got the power and heat going - but we still need to clean (some critters got in -- mostly bugs and mice), but we still need to get the water working.
Anyway, so far so good.  I'm at the county library typing this - so updates may be slow in coming.
