This week at work, weather, etc.

Hi all,

It was FREEZING this past weekend.  Down in the single digits.  We're talking, step outside and all the moisture instantly disapeers from your nose.  And we got more snow.  Monday it was really bad, not just snowing, like it has been since November, but extremely icy.  Today, every school BUT mine was off.  Even the community college where my brother teaches was closed due to weather.  I only had labs, but I went it!  And, actually, I got a lot done -- all my grading for my XP class tomorrow, lesson plans for this week and next week, most of my teacher notes for tomorrow, and 2/3rds of my teacher notes for next Weds. class.
However, I really need to review the topic -- NTFS Permissions (and next week is Shared Folder security - oh joy).  The topics are kinda' inter-related.  BUT, I'm looking forward to the class.  I actually do have fun with "my guys" (and girls!) -- it's kinda' like "geek-talk", which can be actually fun!
I also finally got off my butt and got some fun things rolling.   I finally got the software working for my cell phone - I had to install it on the new (well, newer than my Dell) Gateway, but at least I can transfer pictures and sounds on and off the phone.  The same user pic I have on this post (the TARDIS) is now my inside wallpaper - tho' I still have one of my cats as the outside wallpaper.  And I have family pics on the phone too (I'm using them as "contact pics").
The other thing I did was contact Media Mugs.  www.mediamugs.com  They have a ton of awesome mugs with fannish pictures on them - I bought three china mugs last year at Media West, SGA and Life on Mars for me and another one that's a gift for a friend.  Anyway, I *really* wanted a DW one, but didn't like any of the designs they had.  So now I'm getting three DW ones with pics I had on my hard drive, and I'm trying to get a *Torchwood* one too.  I sent her a pic of Jack, but I need the Torchwood honeycomb T and the word "Torchwood" in the font from the show.  If anyone can help let me know - e-mail me, or contact me via this blog (leave a message).
